Whewie, while I haven't been blogging I have been updating other pages and collecting new cuties for my adopt shop!
Its been nice and HOT here. Today was in the 90s and humid.
Next weekend I'm on a road trip! to Iowa, you can't easily get there from here. We're having a memorial service for my grandmother (who passed in December) and it will turn out to be a reunion of sorts of nearly all of her descendants... some I haven't seen in more than 20 years and some, younger ones, I've never met.
I'll get to see my niblings! Which will BE GREAT! Can't wait to see them.
I've been trying to catch up with all my visiting. Working, working, working and some golf. That's my week :)

July 4th...
Ok, well cleaned up a bit around here so I can add some fun stuff.
What have I been up to?
Moved! that darn business, TWICE! We moved to our new showroom in mid-January. That whole move thing was a saga, humorous looking back but not real fun at the time. Look for that story to come soon!
Then once we moved and settled down we started making money instead of spending it! Now, that's what I'm talking about. After 2 hard years of working working working and paying myself very very little it was time for a perk or two.
So, I have a new car! Technically a company car, but since I own half the company ;) Its a 2004 Honda Accord V6 sedan with all the bells and whistles, I now have a car smarter than me. It's blue with platium leather interior. Best parts? Heated seats and XM radio! Pics coming soon.
I took up golf last summer, oh my! What a game! I've had some lessons, have some equipment and hack it up pretty well. Took the clubs on vacation and played the Faldo course in Orlando, took some lessons there too. I'm about the least athletic there could be and have NO hand eye coordination.
Now I'm settling down, things are going well and I have a little more time to get back online and visit with everyone.

Happy 4th of July.
Short little post to say I'm finally back to bloggin! Woo hoo! I'm going to update the blog and take down the Christmas decorations LOL and fix it all up, then post the latest news! I'll be working around here all afternoon so IM me if you'd like!

Thank you! To all the WWII veterans, and anyone else of that generation. We owe life as we know it to you and may we never forget.
And, while were at it, let's say a prayer for the men and women still in action in IRAQ and everywhere else where Americans are serving.
Wooo hoooo! the BRONCOS WON... BEAT KC in Denver by A LOT! Hope is still alive Bronco Fans... and, oh, Mr. Kennison, can you say PORTIS!
Still working on this blog and stuff. Have some new adopts over at the adopt shop... and if you haven't seen it with the wonderful new Kuddlie set you outta go peak!

November 28...
Well, its raining again.
Would you believe I COOKED Thanksgiving Dinner! I haven't used the stove at my house in years! I cooked the Turkey and fixins for Larry and I and we even set the table and used serving dishes! It was fun! and yummy!
Just got back from Conference in San Diego where our Center was honored to win a few awards, including Top FIVE Service Center in all of UCC.. woo hoo...

Went to see Master and Commander yesterday with Larry, we had a post turkey date! Wow, that is a great movie. Really enjoyed it!

& What is up with the weather, I could have added windy cat, foggy cat, and CCCCCOLD cat! What do you think of the new look? Still shy a few parts here and there, but I'll get it all reloaded!
I'm still getting my computer all set up properly and then there's that pesky work! LOL...

November 16th...
How are you all! I think my life is settling down, a little bit. And boy this blog is a mess... I'll be cleaning it up this week and fixing the tag board, thanks to Zonk.
I've been wildly busy with work and to top that off my computer has been crashing about 5 times a day... and it is an antique. So I've bought myself a new laptop and I'm still setting it up and loading stuff.
I'll be updating the building information its been a crazy story LOL.
Can't wait to go visiting.

October 10th!
I MISS you guys!
Letsee -- we had two big shows, a bridal fair and a homeshow in Sept. so this 24/7 stuff sorta continues. Oh, throw in a nasty little cold and a trip to Chicago for an owners meeting. geeeeez
The BUILDING -- I will post pics. I will. I will! Please stay tuned. The BUILDING is still dragging along -- looking like December (PUHLEEZE!)
We learned about a week ago that we will not be excercising holdover on our existing location and the current lease is up on Oct 31st. Can't get much worse than that. Lease up on Oct 31 -- new building not ready til, oh maybe mid December.
For about 3 days I was MAD then I got PANIC'd -- sickening fear in the pit of the stomach. We have 20 employees and thousands of members relying on us and we're homeless in 20 days! How could we work so hard and come so far to have THIS?!
Interestingly, Tracy - my partner - was typically pschycically linked and going thru the same steps miles away in another state. So this Monday when we met up at our office we were calmly ready to attack the problem.
We will be moving twice, in two weeks we'll move our showroom to a temporary location across the street from where we currently are located. We'll move our warehouse to a temporary location yet to be determined.
Not a very glamorous solution I grant you, but we'll be open and our employees will have jobs.
Just one more chance to improve my character and become stronger. LMBO! Where's the
?
